55 Cup Coffee Percolator

Make coffee for a crowd with our 55 cup coffee maker.  We also offer a 110 cup size for larger gatherings.

Can these be used for hot chocolate? They can be used to make hot chocolate if you want to use water and mix.  Milk cannot be used as it will damage the percolator.  To use water; heat the water in the percolator and then stir in your hot chocolate mix.

If you would like to make a milk based chocolate you would need to pre-make on the stove and then transfer into one of our insulated beverage dispensers to keep warm.  We offer a 2.5 gallon  https://plainfieldparty.com/product/insulated-beverage-dispenser/  Or a 4.75 gallon https://plainfieldparty.com/product/4-75-gallon-insulated-beverage-dispenser/

Using the Coffee Urn
1. Plug directly into a 3 prong outlet.  Cord length is 5′ 9″.

2. Remove cover and basket. Check to see that spigot is closed.

3. Fill urn with COLD, fresh tap water – fill according to markings on inside of urn for number of cups desired.  Do not overfill or under fill. MINIMUM BREW VOLUME IS 25 CUPS. Brewing smaller amounts will cause negligent damage to the machine. Use COLD tap water – the automatic brewing cycle is timed to begin with a cold water start. If you start with warm or hot water, the coffee will brew very weak.

Tip: Wet coffee basket to help keep small particles of coffee from sifting through the metal basket, then add desired amount of regular or percolator grind coffee.

NOTE:1 minute brew time per cup of coffee.  55 cups will take 55 minutes of brew time.
