Important: To ensure the best possible experience with the app, use the most current Android OS or iOS on your device.

Note: Ensure that your device has internet access via your service provider or wireless connection.  You can also download the app on your computer, but remember to connect and sync your device to transfer the app.

Follow these steps to download the free app on your device:

1. Open the Apple App Store or Google Play on your device. Then, search for the ION Sound Control™ app.

2. Follow instructions to download and Install the app. Once downloaded, the ION Sound Control™ will appear on your device’s home screen.

3. Connect your device to Total PA Prime via Bluetooth.

4. Open the ION Sound Control™ app and tap to select: ADD A PRODUCT on the screen.  The app will scan and find your Total PA Prime.

5. Select the Total PA Prime icon to go to the next screen, where you can control the speaker settings from your device.

Bluetooth Connecting with Total PA Prime

1. Power on the Total PA Prim by flipping the Power button.  Total PA Prime with automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode.

2. Navigate to your device’s Bluetooth setup screen, find Total Prime, and connect.  Do not connect to Total Prime BLE; this is reserved exclusively for connecting to the ION Sound Control™ app. When connected, the Bluetooth icon on the display with flash and you will hear “connected”.

Note: if you experience trouble in connecting, select “Forget this Device” on your Bluetooth device and try again.

3. To disconnect, turn off Bluetooth from your device’s Bluetooth settings.

Control Knob

  • Rotate to adjust overall Main Volume
  • Push to select MIC 1/2 to adjust each MIC INPUT volume
  • Push to select SOURCE to adjust BLUETOOTH, AUX or USB volume.
  • Push to select ECHO to adjust echo effects on mics.
  • Push to select LOW or HIGH to adjust EQ settings.

Linking Two Compatible Speakers (Stereo-Link 2.0)

1. Power on the Total PA Prime by flipping on the power button.

2. Press and hold the REPEAT/LINK button to enter Stereo Link mode. Once a link has been established, the word LINK should appear in the display. Use App for further instructions on linking to 1 other Total PA Ultimate.

Note: The speakers should be within 100′ of each other to properly link.
